Anyone with even the most basic knowledge of golf knows that the game consists of repeated movements. With that in mind, it would only make sense to assume that the constant repetition can strengthen some muscles while weakening other muscles from over or under use. The incorporation of Pilates into one's daily routine however, can be the bridge to avoiding this potential imbalance.

Not only does Pilates aid in potential muscle imbalance, but it also helps elongate and align the spine for increased stability while increasing overall flexibility, strength and balance in the body. This is essential in a sport with the amount of muscle imbalance and tension golfing can cause. All in all, by utilizing Pilates as a base and aid in ones game, improvement of overall performance, stamina and strength will be gained through making Pilates part of one's daily lives.
